General Terms and Conditions

1. Introductory Provisions

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") govern the legal relationship between the seller and the buyer when purchasing goods through the Bilgry Candles online store (hereinafter referred to as "e-shop") located on the website www.bilgrycandles.sk.

1.3. The buyer is a natural person or legal entity that orders goods through the e-shop (hereinafter referred to as "buyer").

1.4. By submitting the order, the buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to them in their entirety.

2. Order and Conclusion of Contract

2.1. Ordering goods via the e-shop constitutes an offer to conclude a purchase agreement. The purchase agreement is concluded upon confirmation of the order by the seller via email.

2.2. The seller reserves the right to refuse an order if there is suspicion of data misuse or false information.

3. Price of goods and payment terms

3.1. All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are final.

3.2. The buyer may pay for the ordered goods in the following ways:

  • Online payment by credit card via the Stripe payment gateway.

3.3. After a successful payment, the buyer will receive a payment confirmation via email.

4. Delivery terms

4.1. Goods are delivered exclusively within the territory of the Slovak Republic via the following carriers:

  • Packeta (Zásielkovňa) – delivery to a pick-up point, Z-Box, or to an address .
  • Slovak Post – delivery to the address.

4.2. The shipping cost is indicated during the order process and depends on the chosen carrier and delivery method.

4.3. The delivery time is usually 2-5 business days from order confirmation and receipt of payment. The seller reserves the right to extend the delivery time in case of unforeseen circumstances.

5. Withdrawal from the contract

5.1. The buyer, who is a consumer, has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, in accordance with § 7 of Act No. 102/2014 Coll. on the protection of consumers in distance selling.

5.2. Detailed conditions for withdrawing from the contract, as well as the procedure for returning goods, are set out in the return policy available at the following link:

5.3. The buyer is obliged to return the goods to the seller's address without undue delay, no later than 14 days from the date of withdrawal from the contract. The goods must be undamaged, complete and without signs of use.

5.4. The buyer bears the cost of returning the goods, unless otherwise agreed.

5.5. Upon receipt of the returned goods, all payments made by the buyer in connection with the order (including delivery costs) will be refunded to the buyer in the same manner as used for payment.

6. Complaints and Liability for Defects

6.1. The seller undertakes to handle the complaint within 30 days from the date of its submission.

6.2. Complaints can be submitted in writing or by email. The buyer is obliged to include a description of the defect, attach proof of purchase, and send the defective goods.

7. Protection of personal data

7.1. The processing of personal data is governed by Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

8. Final Provisions

8.1. Legal relations not governed by these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable legal regulations of the Slovak Republic.

8.2. The seller reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions. The change takes effect on the day it is published on the e-shop website.

8.3. These General Terms and Conditions are valid and effective from [12.10.2025].
